Verizon is now accepting orders for the Moto X by Motorola. The new handset is $200 with a new two year contract, or $600 without. That's $100 less than Best Buy's currently listed "unactivated" price, so make sure you order from Verizon if you are going to buy an off contract model.
Unlike AT&T customers who can customize their Moto X using Motorola's "Motomaker" website, Verizon users are stuck choosing between only black or white. However, Verizon did mention it would offer Motomaker support later this year. Verizon subscribers who don't care about having a turquoise handset can order the Moto X starting today directly from VerizonWireless.com.
