Verizon has finally announced that the Samsung Galaxy S III will be available at Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online at www.verizonwireless.com/galaxys3 on July 10. Verizon is the last major U.S. carrier to launch the 4G LTE Samsung device. AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint released the Galaxy S III in June after slight delays due to “unprecedented demand” and “manufacturer supply constraints."

T-Mobile plans to roll out the Samsung Galaxy S III right on schedule but there's one catch. The handset will only be available in select retail and branded locations for the top 29 markets on the 21st. Everyone else will have to wait until June 27 to get their hands on the Galaxy S III. T-Mobile customers who do not live near one of the "top 29 markets" can order the smartphone through T-Mobile's website on the 21st, but there will only be a limited supply of devices.

Which US Carriers Will Offer the Samsung Galaxy S3?

Fri, 05/04/2012 - 16:06 -- Marshall Walker

Samsung officially announced the Galaxy S III in London on May 3rd. In addition to announcing the highly anticipated phone, the Korean manufacturer also noted that the GS3 would be launching globally in 145 countries and across 296 operators. U.S. customers can expected the device to arrive stateside this summer, but the big question is who will be carrying the new handset?

According to the The Verge, Sprint is ready and capable of carrying the phone, but if you head on over to the Galaxy S3 signup page, you will notice that Samsung lists all the major U.S. carriers (plus a few local ones) under the "carrier preference" option. Perhaps they are just trying to get a handle on which carrier would be the most in-demand once the GS3 officially launches?

UPDATE: It looks like the "carrier preference" option was removed. You can see the drop box of carriers listed originally from the Phandroid screenshot above.
