Pre-Order Your Galaxy S4 Case While You Wait

Engadget readers are reporting that ATT.com is accepting pre-orders for the 16GB Galaxy S4 from customers in certain areas . It's unknown why AT&T has not opened pre-orders for everyone, but US Cellular, who is also supposed to start accepting pre-orders today, also hasn't opened its GS4 page at the time of this post. Engadget has also learned that AT&T is promising an April 30th shipping date, and is offering the GS4 off-contract for $639.

AT&T customers can kill some time by doing some case shopping while they wait for pre-orders to open. Case-Mate is currently accepting orders for their Barely There, Tough, Glimmer, and other signature cases for the Galaxy S4. Zagg has opened orders for their popular invisibleSHIELD screen protectors, and a few Speck CandyShell cases in various colors have popped up on Amazon.

T-Mobile Leak Shows Possible April 24th HTC One Release

T-Mobile has been quiet about its HTC One launch since its uncarrier event in March. What we do know is the carrier will offer the new handset contract free for $99 down, but we are still waiting for word on an official release date. Best Buy has told Engadget that they will begin shipping the HTC One T-Mobile model on April 19th for $250 with a two-year contract, but what about T-Mobile's unsubsidized model?

TMONews has learned that T-Mobile will begin selling the contract free HTC One online and at "select retail" stores starting on April 24th. That's five days after AT&T and Sprint will start shipping the device to their customers.

Sprint is now accepting pre-orders for the HTC One. The flagship handset is $199 with a new two-year contract, and will begin shipping on April 19th. That's a few days after the AT&T HTC One model will begin shipping, but ordering now will ensure you will be one of the first to receive the new device on Sprint's network. Sprint is also offering $100 off the phone when you bring your number to them on a new line of service.

The HTC One was announced on Tuesday, February 19th with an expected March release, but unforeseen delays caused its launch to be pushed back to April in the U.S.. Sprint's model was also slightly delayed due to a manufacturing problem. HTC plans to launch the HTC One through 185 mobile operators and major retailers in more than 80 regions and countries in 2013.
