Samsung Announces New Dual SIM Smartphone
Samsung announced today the Galaxy Core smartphone with dual SIM technology and a 1.2 GHz dual core processor. The 4.3-inch handset features 8GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM and a microSD slot for memory expansion. The Galaxy Core sports a long-lasting 1,800mAh battery, a 5MP camera, and it ships with Motion UI, Smart Stay, Smart Alert and S Voice.

Motion UI allows users to activate certain functions with "simple motion commands". Smart Stay saves battery life by powering down the device's display when a user looks away, and Smart Alert warns a user about missed calls when they pick up their phone. S Voice gives the Galaxy Core voice command functionality.

Other features and specs include NFC, LTE, a water resistant design and STAMINA Mode for longer battery life. The 16GB Xperia Tablet Z from Sony is $500, and the 32GB model with charging cradle is $600. The tablet is expected to start shipping on May 24.
