The LG Optimus G Pro will be an AT&T exclusive for $200 on-contract starting on May 10. The new handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.7GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, and features Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The G Pro also boasts a 5.5" 1080p full HD IPS display, a 13MP full HD rear-facing camera, and a 2.1MP front-facing camera.

Other features include a long-lasting 3,140 mAh battery, VuTalk, QSlide 2.0, QuickRemote and Bluetooth 4.0. The LG Optimus G Pro will be available with 32GB of on-board storage, with support for up to 64GB of expandable memory.

Sony is now accepting pre-orders for its Xperia Tablet Z. The Xperia Z weighs only 17.5 ounces, making it one of the lightest 10-inch tablets on the market. The new Sony slate features a 1,920 x 1,200 display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 technology, and it's powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and 2GB RAM. It sports an 8.1-megapixel Exmor R camera, S-Force virtual surround sound and it is available with 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.

Other features and specs include NFC, LTE, a water resistant design and STAMINA Mode for longer battery life. The 16GB Xperia Tablet Z from Sony is $500, and the 32GB model with charging cradle is $600. The tablet is expected to start shipping on May 24.

The popular iOS video sharing app Vine is finally coming to Google Play. While discussing the app's rise to the number one spot in Apple's App Store, Vine co-founder Dom Hofmann told The Verge that an Android app is coming "soon".

Vine is a lot like Twitter but with videos. Users can create six seconds clips to share with their family, friends and other Vine users. The app also features direct Twitter integration, an easy to use tagging system and the ability to like other people's uploads. Actors and comedians like Adam Goldberg are already populating the Vine community, and it's becoming the must have app for bored teens who like to over share.

"Unexpected inventory challenges from Samsung" have forced both Sprint and T-Mobile to change their release schedule for the Galaxy S4. T-Mobile's model was supposed drop today, but has been delayed untli Monday, April 29. Here is the official statement released by T-Mobile on Tuesday:

"We know customers are really looking forward to getting their new Samsung Galaxy S 4 soon. However, due to an unexpected delay with inventory deliveries, the Galaxy S 4 will not be available on www.T-Mobile.com as planned on Wednesday, April 24. Instead, online availability is expected to begin on Monday, April 29. We apologize for any inconvenience and are working with Samsung to deliver the device to T-Mobile customers as soon as possible."

Sprint had planned to launch their GS4 model on Saturday, April 27, but the same unexpected inventory shortage has forced them to delay their release as well. Unlike T-Mobile, Sprint did not announce a new release date, but promised they are working with Samsung to launch the device through all Sprint channels "as soon as possible".
