The Motorola Backflip will be released on March 7, 2010 by AT&T Wireless. The first Android phone on the AT&T network, the Backflip will support HSPA 7.2 and run Motorola's social networking software MOTOBLUR. The device features a 5MP camera to record photos and video, and a large keyboard that flips over and deactivates when not in use. With a two-year contract and mail-in rebate the Backflip will cost $99.99.

The device features a large keyboard that flips over instead of sliding. When the Backflip is folded closed the keyboard is not hidden, it remains exposed and deactivated on the back of the phone.
