LG announced that their global Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade schedule will begin in the second and third quarters of 2012. The LG Optimus LTE, Prada phone by LG 3.0, the LG Optimus 2X, the LG Optimus Sol, the LG my Touch Q and the LG Eclipse will receive Android 4.0 updates during the Q2 of 2012. Upgrades for the LG Optimus 3D, the LG Optimus Black, the LG Optimus Big, the LG Optimus Q2 and the LG Optimus EX will begin rolling out in Q3 of 2012.
LG is expected to announce the LG Nitro HD on December 1st. The Nitro HD is the American version of the Canadian LG Optimus LTE.
According to Phandroid, an invite they received from LG did not mention any particular phone, but the file name read "LG Nitro." This lead them to believe the new phone will be announced next month, but nothing has been confirmed.
