How can I find the Android version on my device?

Sometimes you need to find out exactly which version of Android is installed on your device. To determine the firmware version number follow these instructions:

1. Press the Menu button.
2. Navigate to Settings.
3. Select About Phone.
4. The information you need is listed under Android Version.
5. On some devices you must navigate to Settings -> About Phone -> Software Information -> Android Version.
6. Android Version is sometimes listed as Firmware Version.

Be sure you're looking at Android Version or Firmware Version to get the correct number. Listings under other terms such as Software Number or System Version are NOT the same as the version of Android you're running.
