Can I stop Android app update notifications?

Yes. Thanks to Android 2.2 apps can update automatically, but they send a notification every time this happens. You can turn off this feature with these steps:

1. Navigate to the Android Market -> Downloads.
2. Press Menu -> Select Notifications.
3. Choose Do not notify me, then touch OK.

Your device will stop bugging you every time it updates an app.
