Verizon has finally announced that the Samsung Galaxy S III will be available at Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online at www.verizonwireless.com/galaxys3 on July 10. Verizon is the last major U.S. carrier to launch the 4G LTE Samsung device. AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint released the Galaxy S III in June after slight delays due to “unprecedented demand” and “manufacturer supply constraints."
Customers can take advantage of the S3's fast speeds thanks to Verizon Wireless' 4G LTE network. It features Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), mobile hotspot capabilities for sharing a 4G LTE connection with up to 10 Wi-Fi-enabled devices, a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, and 2GB of RAM. The S3 also ships with Share Shot, S Beam, S Voice and Pop Up Play.
Other features include a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, an 8MP camera and a 1.9MP front-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S III on Verizon will cost $199.99 for the 16GB model and $249.99 for the 32GB model. It will be available in Marble White or Pebble Blue.
