UPDATE: Android 4.0.4 is rolling out for all Sony Xperia Mini Pro handsets. If you have not received a notification go to settings to look for the update.
Sony has promised that their entire 2011 Xperia smartphone portfolio will receive Android 4.0 when possible. On Thursday, Sony kept part of their promise by offering an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade for unlocked Sony Xperia Mini Pro handsets. Carrier-specific versions of the Xperia Mini will see updates as the individual carriers see fit to release them.

If you own an unlocked, unbranded Xperia Mini Pro you'll need to connect your device to Sony's PC Companion or Bridge for Mac application to upgrade. Since the upgrade is being released in batches you will also need to check here for a list of SI numbers.
The Sony Xperia Mini Pro was released last summer. Its stylish and compact design plus side-sliding QWERTY keyboard and Corner UI modifications were met with positive reviews.
