The U.S. bound Sony Xperia ion will hit AT&T on June 24th for $99. Sony originally announced the handset at CES 2012.

Sony's first 4G LTE smartphone will ship with Gingerbread 2.3.7, but an Android 4.0 upgrade is expected after its release. The Xperia ion features a 4.6-inch HD Reality display (1280 x 720), a 12-megapixel Fast Capture camera with quick launch feature, and 16GB of internal memory (microSD slot for up to 32GB of expansion included). The 1.5Ghz dual core powered device is PlayStation Certified for high quality mobile gaming, and is capable of shooting 1080p HD video.
Xperia ion owners will have access to over 12 million songs, movies and TV shows thanks to the Sony Entertainment Network and Sony Music Unlimited. Users will also have access to many PlayStation titles.
The Xperia ion from Sony will arrive exclusively in all AT&T channels on June 24 for $99.99 (with a two-year agreement).
