T-Mobile subscribers can now buy the Samsung Galaxy Note for $250. The "phablet" is now available at T-Mobile stores or online at Tmobile.com. The Android smartphone/tablet hybrid was originally introduced in 2011 through AT&T.

The Note features an extra-large 5.3-inch display, stylus and handwriting recognition, and exclusive note taking apps. The 4G LTE device is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, and runs Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich. It ships with an 8MP camera, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of built-in memory plus a MicroSD card for up to 48GB of expandable memory.
Samsung is expected to announce its follow-up to the Galaxy Note at a Samsung unpacked event on August 29 2012. It's unknown who will carry the Galaxy Note II, so T-Mobile customers may want to wait before agreeing to a new two-year contract when buying the original.
