HTC Releases EVO DESIGN Source Code, HTC VIVID Bootloader Officially Unlocked

The HTC Vivid has been added to the list of 23 other devices that have been officially unlocked by HTCdev.com. HTC's new unlocking tool is an easy and safer way to unlock your bootloader. Make sure you read the FAQ before unlocking any of your devices.
HTC recently added T-Mobile's myTouch 4G Slide and the EVO View 4G to their growing list of unlockable models. You can see a complete list of devices at HTCdev.com.
HTC has also released the kernel source code for the EVO Design 4G (HTC Hero S for U.S. Cellular). This will allow developers to use the code to mod the device. EVO owners can check developer forums like XDA for improved kernels, and Devs can click here to download the source code.
