AT&T has moved its Samsung Galaxy III shipping date to June 28th due to “unprecedented demand” for the device. T-Mobile, Sprint and Canadian Carriers have also been suffering from shipping delays.
T-Mobile has broken its launch into two phases. The Galaxy III will only be available to T-Mobile subscribers who live near the top 29 markets on June 21st. All other customers will have to wait until June 27th, or hope to snag one through T-Mobile's website. Sprint told its customers that they will be "running a little behind on deliveries," and shipments have been pushed back to June 27th in Canada.
Verizon is the only U.S. carrier not facing delays. T-Mobile users can click here for a list of the top 29 cities, and Sprint users can visit www.sprint.com/myorder to check the status on their pre-order.
It's unknown if AT&T's new shipping date applies to new orders, pre-orders, or both.
