Fri, 09/05/2014 - 13:07 -- Marshall Walker

Motorola's long awaited smartwatch is now available for purchase in the U.S.. The Moto 360 joins LG's G Watch and Samsung's Gear watch on the growing list Android Wear capable devices. The launch comes a few days before Apple is expected to announce its first wearable device on September 9th.

Moto 360The Moto 360 features a similar, classic circular design as the LG G. It is available in black or gray Horween leather and it features a 1.5-inch full color LCD touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass. The 360 is also equipped with a built-in heart rate monitor, pedometer and it is capable of wireless charging. Motorola promises an "all day battery", but some reviewers are saying the opposite. Joanna Stern of the WSJ said the constant barrage of email, Twitter and Facebook notifications take a toll on the battery's life. Obviously no device's battery is going to last all day if you sync it with a bunch of useless crap.

Bio Inc. - Biomedical Plague Now Available for Android Devices

Wed, 09/03/2014 - 12:51 -- Alex Gardner

The hit iOS game Bio Inc. is now available for Android Devices. The goal of the game is to kill off random people by infecting them with lethal illnesses. The game is easy to play but hard to conquer. Here's how it works... Each level offers its own victim with varying strengths or weaknesses. For example, on level 1 you must kill off John Smith who is an overweight smoker, and on level 6 you must try to off a young and healthy athlete. You begin each level by collecting bacteria and viruses which give you points to spend in three sections: Diseases, Risk Factors and Recovery.

Bio Inc.The Diseases section is where you inflict your damage by attacking various bodily systems, like the heart and lungs, with simple illnesses such as Bronchitis and Hypertension. Spending your bacteria points on smaller illnesses will unlock bigger health problems for you to buy, like a Heart Attack or Kidney Failure. Some diseases require that you unlock certain Risk Factors to access them. For example, you will have to unlock Malnutrition to inflict Rickets to your victim.
