Motorola's long awaited smartwatch is now available for purchase in the U.S.. The Moto 360 joins LG's G Watch and Samsung's Gear watch on the growing list Android Wear capable devices. The launch comes a few days before Apple is expected to announce its first wearable device on September 9th.
The Moto 360 features a similar, classic circular design as the LG G. It is available in black or gray Horween leather and it features a 1.5-inch full color LCD touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass. The 360 is also equipped with a built-in heart rate monitor, pedometer and it is capable of wireless charging. Motorola promises an "all day battery", but some reviewers are saying the opposite. Joanna Stern of the WSJ said the constant barrage of email, Twitter and Facebook notifications take a toll on the battery's life. Obviously no device's battery is going to last all day if you sync it with a bunch of useless crap.
